Maintenance Technician - Summerwell Cedercrest

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Summerwell Cedercrest community in Acworth. The role ensures that the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in accordance with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, obtaining supplies, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or building defects.
• Experience with make‑ready turnover processes and coordinating vendors.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and inventory management.
• Commitment to safety standards and proper tool usage.
