Outpatient Urology Physician – Fort Worth, TX

About the role

Texas Health Urology Specialists is seeking an outpatient urology physician to join a fully staffed, modern clinic on the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital campus in Fort Worth. The position starts in June 2026, allowing 120 days for credentialing, and offers a balanced schedule with no unassigned hospital call.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient urology care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up.
• Perform clinic‑based procedures using state‑of‑the‑art equipment such as the BK5000 transperineal biopsy suite and cystoscopy suites.
• Document all patient encounters in Epic EMR and ensure seamless information flow with the hospital.
• Collaborate with four urology hospitalists who cover all ER call duties.
• Maintain high quality and safety standards in line with Texas Health system protocols.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree with completion of an ACGME‑accredited urology residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in urology.
• Ready to begin practice in June 2026 (credentialing period accounted for).
• Additional training or experience in endourology is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epic EMR.
• Experience using the BK5000 transperineal biopsy system with MR fusion capability.
• Competence in cystoscopy procedures and PACS integration.
