Operations Planner, Supply Chain

About the role

The Operations Planner will partner with customers and vendors to forecast supply‑chain needs, manage procurement, and ensure timely delivery of finished goods to retail warehouses. This role supports cross‑functional teams to maintain data integrity in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and drives speed‑to‑market initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders for components and finished goods and negotiate with vendors to secure production.
• Balance scheduling priorities across the vendor base and manage vendor on‑time and complete performance at 95% or higher.
• Expedite shipments and production to meet speed initiatives and conduct short‑ and long‑term capacity planning.
• Communicate launch forecasts, receipt plans, and order status updates to retail partners.
• Maintain accurate master data in SAP MRP, including Bill of Materials (BOM) details, waste factors, and usage.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control to resolve BOM issues and support excess & obsolete reconciliation.
• Participate in quarterly inventory reviews, seasonal planning, and ad‑hoc cycle counts to reduce liability.

Required profile

• Experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
• Proficiency with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
• Ability to perform capacity planning and analyze supply‑chain data.
