Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator will support Chipotle’s supply chain by ensuring timely and accurate procurement of goods and services needed for restaurant development and daily operations. This position works across facilities, construction, IT, and corporate functions to keep procurement processes efficient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders for capital‑expenditure items and coordinate with vendors.
• Review architectural plans for new restaurants to determine required items and quantities.
• Manage a ServiceNow task queue, completing tickets within departmental timelines.
• Maintain accurate data in the procure‑to‑pay system and troubleshoot work‑order issues.
• Monitor and audit integrations between ServiceChannel, ServiceNow, and Oracle Cloud, and test quarterly updates.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with internal partners and external suppliers.
• Respond to requisitions within one business day, create purchase orders after budget approval.
• Prepare purchase requisitions using supplier quotes and approved catalogs.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on capitalization policies and budget items.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets to resolve invoice and receiving discrepancies.
• Document procedures to ensure consistency and continuity.

Required profile

• Strong coordination and communication skills with internal teams and vendors.
• Ability to work under tight timelines while maintaining data accuracy.
• Knowledge of corporate procurement policies and capitalization guidelines.
• Detail‑oriented approach to auditing and troubleshooting system integrations.
