About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Purchasing Agent to support the West Central Georgia Regional Hospital in Columbus. The role involves receiving, storing, and issuing property and supplies while ensuring accurate inventory control under direct supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue property and supplies for the hospital.
• Maintain and update inventory records.
• Coordinate property and inventory control activities.
• Assist in purchasing processes and supply chain tasks.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and safety protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain management, or six months in a lower‑level purchasing technician role.
• Ability to work under direct supervision and follow established procedures.
• Eligibility for required background checks, drug screening, TB evaluation, and vaccinations.
