Of Counsel Attorney – Dallas

About the role

Brewer Attorneys & Counselors is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Dallas office as Of Counsel. The position is full‑time, on‑site and involves leading high‑stakes commercial litigation and related matters for sophisticated clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as lead or senior counsel on complex commercial litigation, investigations, appeals, and significant disputes.
• Deliver strategic, business‑focused legal advice to clients in high‑value matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys, investigators, consultants, and communications professionals to advance client objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
• Identify emerging legal risks, opportunities, and litigation trends relevant to clients and the firm.
• Manage case strategy, consultants, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 8 years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Licensed to practice in Texas; admissions in NY, FL, AZ or other jurisdictions are a plus.
• Proven ability to handle sophisticated, high‑value disputes with minimal supervision.
• Strong judgment, client‑focused mindset and collaborative team orientation.
• Demonstrated success in complex commercial litigation and related areas.
