Mobile Equipment Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator to join our Streetman, TX plant, operating a variety of mining equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The role supports our aggregate production for construction projects across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and MSHA regulations.
• Perform equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
• Operate all types of mining equipment efficiently in all weather conditions.
• Load product and overburden in an open‑pit mine.
• Monitor production, record operational data and ensure safe, efficient operation.
• Clean and maintain equipment, completing maintenance orders as needed.
• Collect and test material samples to verify compliance with specifications.
• Transfer materials, supplies and product between work areas.
• Attend scheduled departmental and safety meetings.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.

Required profile

• Prior loader or mobile equipment experience is helpful.
• General understanding of good manufacturing practices and ability to resolve basic processing issues.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic math calculations.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 75 lb.
• Pass drug, physical, background checks and obtain MSHA certification (training provided).
