Merchandising Trainee – Women’s Ready-to-Wear

About the role

The Dior Corporate Trainee program offers a 12‑month, full‑time opportunity to develop future talent in luxury retail merchandising. As a Merchandising Trainee for Women’s Ready‑to‑Wear, you will support the Americas boutique business strategy through reporting, analysis, and project work.

Key responsibilities

• Generate weekly sales reports, store recaps and track performance against targets using Excel.
• Produce and distribute the weekly Merchandising Newsletter to retail teams.
• Assist with stock rebalancing, product inquiries and trunk‑show sample tracking.
• Support creation of seasonal launch tools, including buy books, photo assets and allocation adjustments.
• Conduct monthly market analysis on pricing, trends and competitor activity.
• Help prepare pre‑market analysis and allocation for the four buying sessions.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting, fast/slow seller analysis and end‑of‑season product recaps.
