Medical Assistant (PRN) – Urgent Care & Family Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Medical Assistant to support our Urgent Care and Family Medicine clinic in Eagle Mountain, Utah. The role involves assisting providers with patient examinations, procedures, and documentation on a flexible schedule that includes evenings and Saturdays.

Key responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare them for exams.
• Gather and present pertinent information (medications, labs, allergies, imaging) to providers.
• Assist with examinations, minor surgical and invasive procedures.
• Maintain clean and sterilized exam rooms and equipment.
• Document orders, referrals, lab tests, and follow‑up activities in the EMR.
• Handle patient messages, tasks, and medication administration as ordered.
• Retrieve prior x‑rays, notes, and results for provider review.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and strong patient‑staff communication.
• Ability to multitask while delivering courteous service.
• Prior experience in a medical office environment (required).
• Knowledge of computers and electronic medical record systems.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Basic computer skills.
