Full-Time Medical Assistant – Family Medicine & Urgent Care

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Medical Assistant to support our Family Medicine and Urgent Care clinic in Eagle Mountain. The position involves flexible shifts, including evenings and Saturdays, and requires a professional demeanor with patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous service to patients and co‑workers, fostering a positive work environment.
• Assist providers with patient care, document encounters, and ensure all relevant patient information is available.
• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and prepare them for examinations.
• Retrieve and organize prior records, including x‑rays, notes, and test results.
• Review messages and paperwork with providers, responding promptly as directed.
• Assist with examinations, invasive and minor surgical procedures.
• Prepare and clean exam and treatment rooms, sterilize equipment between patients.
• Document orders, referrals, and laboratory tests accurately.
• Track follow‑up activities related to health maintenance and quality care measures.
• Manage patient messages and tasks in a timely manner.
• Administer medications as ordered by the provider.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proficiency with computers and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
• Previous medical office experience.
• Phlebotomy skills.
• High school diploma or GED (required for CLIA‑waived lab work).
