About the role
The Humanitarian MEAL & CPiE Evidence and Learning Intern will support World Vision’s evidence synthesis, strategic learning, and knowledge management to improve emergency programming for vulnerable children.
Key responsibilities
- Review and synthesize research, evaluations, assessments, and program learning related to MEAL and Child Protection in Emergencies.
- Organize evidence around priority learning questions and develop concise learning products for internal audiences.
- Analyze program and response data to identify patterns, emerging issues, and learning opportunities.
- Examine evidence on child protection outcomes, integration, localization, and approaches that capture children’s experiences.
- Produce accessible outputs such as evidence summaries, briefing notes, presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Maintain and improve knowledge‑management systems to enhance access to evidence and datasets.
Required profile
- Strong research and analytical abilities with experience reviewing qualitative and quantitative information.
- Excellent written communication skills for translating complex evidence into clear products.
- Critical thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
- Evidence‑to‑action orientation and interest in humanitarian programming.
- Commitment to World Vision’s mission and Christian Statement of Faith.
