Housing Operations & Assessment Coordinator

About the role

The Housing Operations & Assessment Coordinator supports Residence Life by overseeing daily housing operations, supervising student staff, and providing data‑driven insights to guide campus housing decisions. This full‑time, on‑site position requires living in a college‑provided apartment and working year‑round.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and directly supervise student staff, handling performance management and leadership development.
• Collaborate with facilities teams to manage maintenance, custodial services, work orders, and health‑and‑safety inspections.
• Administer the residential area budget, process invoices, and handle financial transactions using Oracle.
• Coordinate room inventories, changes, damage billing, and opening/closing of residence halls.
• Collect and analyze occupancy, preference, and demand data; produce reports, graphics, and slide presentations to inform housing planning.
• Maintain and update the department’s WordPress webpages, ensuring accurate and accessible content.
• Serve on‑call rotation for student concerns, document incidents, and support student wellbeing.
• Represent Residence Life at campus events, task forces, and recruitment activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of programming or data‑analysis experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to live on campus and meet background‑check requirements.

Required skills

• Oracle financial and data processing system.
• WordPress content management.
