Manual QA Engineer – Healthcare RCM Specialist

About the role

PsychPlus is looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of its healthcare‑focused software. You will work on applications that support patient registration, insurance verification, claims processing, billing, and payments, directly impacting the delivery of mental health services.

Key responsibilities

• Review software requirements and create detailed manual test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual tests to validate functionality, performance, and usability of applications.
• Identify, document, and report defects using issue‑tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that resolved bugs do not affect existing features.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to clarify requirements and testing objectives.
• Validate healthcare workflows, especially Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes.
• Ensure compliance with Electronic Health Record (EHR) standards and usability guidelines.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for improving overall software quality.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in manual software testing.
• Experience testing EHR/EMR systems and understanding of healthcare workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) applications is a strong plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative startup environment.
