Content Author Lead (Adobe Experience Manager)

About the role
The Content Author Lead (CAL) drives template and component design in Adobe Experience Manager, leads peer reviews, and creates technical documentation. This senior technical leader ensures high performance, strong client relationships, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues, providing root‑cause analysis.
- Own content release activities, including code reviews, client demos, QA hand‑offs, and solution justification.
- Mentor team members, enforce guidelines, and coordinate technical communication with Creative, Business, and Management groups.
- Conduct one‑on‑one coaching sessions, oversee peer reviewing and unit testing practices.
- Gather business requirements, map them to technical solutions, estimate authoring tasks, and present to clients.
- Maintain clear documentation per Capability guidelines and create training programs.
- Participate in recruiting, client meetings, and Capability initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 years of AEM experience with proven leadership of development teams.
- Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and process‑automation skills.
- Passion for mentoring, cross‑functional collaboration, and proactive communication.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2+).
Required skills
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Pre‑processed CSS: SASS, LESS
- Data formats and protocols: JSON, XML, HTTP
- SEO best practices for CMS pages
- Unit, load, and performance testing methodologies
- Modern development patterns: Mobile‑First, MVC, OOP
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks and cross‑browser compatibility
- SCRUM/Agile methodologies (SCRUM Fundamentals certification preferred)
- Six Sigma fundamentals (preferred)
