Leasing Professional – Legacy Encore Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional for the Legacy Encore community will lead all leasing activities, from attracting new residents to ensuring satisfaction throughout the lease term. This role supports Greystar’s goal of high occupancy, revenue growth, and strong resident retention in a stabilized mid‑rise property.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, prepare lease documents, and manage move‑in logistics.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

• Ability to analyze market data and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit inspections.
