Leasing Professional – Summerall Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to manage the Summerall community in Tampa. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, including credit and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑ins, and inspect units for readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident and prospect data.

Required profile

• Experience in leasing or property‑management environments, with a focus on achieving occupancy and revenue goals.
• Ability to conduct tours, qualify leads, and manage the full leasing cycle from application to move‑in.
• Strong knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Organizational skills to coordinate marketing activities and maintain accurate records.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property‑management software.
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
