Lead Infant Teacher (Full-Time, Mon–Fri)

About the role

Discovery Kidzone is seeking an experienced early childhood educator to lead an infant classroom in Helena. You will create a safe, nurturing environment where infants thrive while mentoring assistant teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily routines and developmentally appropriate activities for infants and young toddlers.
• Plan and implement learning experiences that support cognitive, social, emotional, language, and physical development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom that complies with Montana licensing requirements.
• Observe, document, and communicate each child’s progress to families and center leadership.
• Mentor and support Assistant Teachers, fostering teamwork and high‑quality classroom operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a licensed childcare or early learning program.
• Experience with infants or toddlers preferred.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related coursework preferred.
• Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
