About the role
The Associate Dean of Academic Affairs for the BSN Online Program will lead day‑to‑day academic operations, supervise faculty, and partner with the Dean to execute strategic program goals. This remote position supports student success, curriculum quality, and compliance with accreditation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Implement academic strategy under the Dean’s direction and manage faculty schedules, workload, and performance.
- Analyze student success data to improve curriculum delivery, labs, simulations, and workshops.
- Recruit, select, onboard, and retain qualified faculty to ensure program excellence.
- Lead performance management for visiting and full‑time faculty, providing observation, evaluation, and feedback.
- Collaborate on budget planning, resource allocation, and capital requests.
- Support clinical placement of nursing students and serve as liaison to boards, communities, and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in nursing (required); doctoral degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years experience in bachelor‑level nursing education, simulation/clinical development, and leadership.
- At least 2 years experience in acute patient care, trauma, emergency, or medical‑surgical settings.
- Unencumbered professional nursing licensure.
- Strong interpersonal, conflict‑resolution, and communication skills.

- Salary range $70,696.34 – $142,666.84 per year, adjusted for experience, location, and qualifications.
