About the role
Join Chamberlain University as a Part‑Time Visiting Professor to inspire nursing students, guide clinical experiences, and contribute to the College’s mission of transforming healthcare through education.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the College’s curriculum and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service.
- Plan and supervise clinical experiences, evaluating student performance and providing feedback.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments tailored to student competency levels.
- Correct and return homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, and clinical paperwork promptly.
- Collaborate with college administration, staff, and faculty to improve operations and student satisfaction.
- Participate in assessment programs, retention efforts, and policy implementation.
- Serve as a professional role model in communication, collaboration, and professionalism.
Required profile
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- At least 2 years of recent RN practice experience.
- Excellent communication skills with high initiative and prudent judgment.
- Active RN licensure in the state of Texas.
