About the role
Chamberlain University seeks a part‑time Visiting Professor to teach the Pathophysiology course for its online BSN program. The faculty member will act as facilitator, coach, and advisor, delivering both asynchronous discussions and synchronous live lectures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead weekly asynchronous discussions and schedule live lectures (AM/PM options) for students.
- Provide timely support via email, online conferencing, or telephone and respond to student inquiries.
- Evaluate student performance, return graded assignments, and offer remediation as needed.
- Contribute to curriculum development, program evaluation, and college-wide initiatives.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Nursing (required).
- Unencumbered Illinois RN licensure (Multi‑State Compact preferred).
- Experience teaching in an online/remote format is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, strong initiative, and a genuine passion for nursing education.
