Credentialing Coordinator

About the role

The Credentialing Coordinator supports nursing students through the RN licensure and credentialing process, ensuring timely completion of Board of Nursing applications, background checks, fingerprinting, transcript submission, and NCLEX registration across multiple states.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 support to students completing RN licensure and credentialing requirements.
• Guide students through state‑specific Board of Nursing processes using established workflows and checklists.
• Monitor and track student progress to meet program deadlines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all credentialing activities in institutional systems.
• Escalate non‑standard issues or regulatory questions to the manager.
• Update job aids, workflows, and training materials for new state requirements.

Required profile

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of office experience, preferably in academic, healthcare, or student‑support environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with database systems and internet applications.
• Familiarity with student‑facing systems or CRM platforms.
