About the role
Local lane drivers are needed to work Thursday through Monday, with Tuesday and Wednesday off. Shifts start at either 20:00 or 01:00 and night driving is mandatory. The freight is drop‑and‑hook within a 100‑mile radius, and trucks feature slip‑seating; Hazmat endorsement is required when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a truck on a local lane covering a 100‑mile radius.
- Perform night‑time driving from Thursday to Monday.
- Execute drop‑and‑hook freight handling.
- Manage slip‑seating operations.
- Maintain Hazmat compliance when required.
Required profile
- Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL‑A) and at least 21 years of age.
- Minimum three months of verifiable truck‑driving experience.
- Own personal transportation for getting to the home terminal.
- Ability to work night shifts with start times at 20:00 or 01:00.
- Completion of a paid orientation before being hired.
What we offer
- Annual salary between $79,000 and $80,000 (approximately $0.56‑$0.63 CPM).
- Paid orientation before official start.
- Full‑time, permanent position.
