Material Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Material Coordinator to join our Performance Chemicals team in McIntosh, AL. The role involves coordinating and tracking material movement in line with production and shipping schedules, and collaborating with supervisors to ensure timely availability of required materials.

Key responsibilities

• Issue and compile monthly, technical, and ad‑hoc reports for internal stakeholders and management.
• Enter and maintain data in SAP, serving as a key user and primary point of contact for SAP‑related inquiries.
• Manage daily inventory transactions, track activities, and coordinate annual tagged audits.
• Design and maintain inventory systems for real‑time product tracking.
• Perform accounting activities such as monthly production counts, month‑end closing, and annual BOM reviews.
• Oversee site waste management processes and coordinate disposal solutions with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Supply Chain) or 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with SAP modules, preferably Production and Quality Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Relevant certifications such as DOT/IATA/IMDG/RCRA/OSHA Hazmat (preferred) and APICS (preferred).
