Demand Planning Analyst – Supply Chain

About the role

The Demand Planning Analyst supports Yara North America’s Supply Chain organization by evaluating forecast accuracy, aligning stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement across all product lines and business segments.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with regional commercial teams to compare actual trends with forecasts and develop actionable solutions.
• Analyze historical forecasts and sales using statistical methods to identify trends and variances.
• Track, analyze, and report monthly demand forecasts versus actual sales, providing insights to improve accuracy.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to boost forecast reliability and supply‑chain performance.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate demand trends and assumptions.
• Partner with Supply Planning, Logistics, and Commercial teams to align demand and supply plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, demand planning, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and handle 24/7 critical planning challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with AI tools such as Co‑Pilot and/or ChatGPT.
• SAP experience is a plus.
