Assistant Store Manager – Retail Leadership

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our ThirdLove boutique at Roosevelt Field. In this role you will support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic retail team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales performance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspire, coach and develop Sales Associates and Supervisors to provide high‑energy, customer‑focused service.
• Partner with the Store Manager to create and execute sales and engagement strategies that meet store KPIs.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding and training of new sales staff.
• Oversee daily operations including inventory control, visual merchandising and after‑care support.
• Plan and run in‑store events and marketing initiatives to increase foot traffic and sales.
• Utilise retail technologies such as Shopify, Slack and Google Workspace to streamline processes.
• Collaborate on scheduling and payroll to ensure adequate staffing for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a flexible 40‑hour work schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends.

Required profile

• Proven ability to contribute to store sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Strong leadership skills with experience coaching retail teams.
• Focus on operational excellence, including inventory and visual merchandising.
• Adaptable, data‑driven mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
