Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and providing consultative sales to customers in Lexington, SC. You will be the face of the company, delivering installations, troubleshooting, and educating homeowners on their new systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes on‑site and recommend equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Train homeowners on the operation of their new smart home system.
• Participate in ongoing coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.

Required profile

• Sales mindset – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service‑based sales is a plus.
• Customer‑first attitude with integrity and strong rapport‑building skills.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction or solar is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and ability to pass background and licensing checks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb, climb ladders (up to 14 ft) and work in confined spaces.
