Welcome Center Representative

About the role

Join the YMCA Membership Sales & Service Team as a Welcome Center Representative. You will greet members, manage check‑ins, handle phone calls, and promote YMCA programs while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors with a friendly demeanor, enforce safety and membership policies.
• Conduct tours, answer phone inquiries, and process membership and program sales.
• Handle cash transactions, balance daily receipts, and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Assist in emergencies, assemble equipment, and support victim care.
• Attend staff meetings, work flexible shifts including opening, closing, and weekends.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on listening and welcoming members.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work independently.
• Reliability in arriving on time, dressed in uniform with name tag.
