Welcome Center Representative – Early Mornings

About the role

Join the YMCA Membership Sales & Service Team as a Welcome Center Representative working early mornings. You will greet members, manage check‑ins, handle phone calls, and support membership and program sales while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and program participants with a friendly demeanor, enforce safety and membership policies.
• Conduct prospective member tours, answer phone calls, and provide accurate information about YMCA programs.
• Handle cash transactions, balance daily receipts, and secure envelopes in the safe.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and be prepared to respond to emergencies.
• Attend staff meetings, work independently, and fill in for uncovered shifts, including opening, closing, and weekends.

Required profile

• Excellent member service mindset – listening, caring, and checking in on members’ progress.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and use “Listen First” skills to build relationships.
• Reliability – arrive on time, dressed in uniform with name tag, and be willing to cover additional shifts.
