About the role

Emcita is seeking a driven Sales & Business Development Associate based in the USA to generate new business and close deals with US companies, diaspora‑owned businesses, and organizations interested in African tech talent. This remote, commission‑based position offers uncapped earning potential.

Key responsibilities

Identify and reach out to potential US clients needing software, web development, cloud, mobile app development, digital transformation, or other services from Emcita’s 17 service lines.
Pitch Emcita’s offerings and match client needs to the appropriate practice area.
Manage the sales conversation from first contact through to a signed contract.
Collaborate directly with Emcita’s founder to structure proposals and pricing.

Required profile

Proven sales, business development, or client‑facing experience (tech/IT services background a plus).
Strong US business network and comfort reaching out to decision‑makers.
Self‑starter capable of working independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
