Web Engineer

About the role

Rare Candy is looking for a mid‑level Web Engineer to build and improve the web experiences that collectors use to discover products, manage collections, shop drops, and open Instapacks. You will work closely with the CTO and cross‑functional teams to take features from concept to production in a fast‑moving startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs, collaborating on data requirements and contracts.
• Own features from planning through implementation, testing, rollout, and post‑release improvements.
• Build reusable components, ensure accessibility, performance, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Investigate and resolve production bugs, and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of web engineering experience with production‑ready features.
• Ability to take a feature from brief to release independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving startup where priorities shift.
• Passion for trading‑card or collector communities.
