Warehouse Manager

About the role

Dot Foods Inc., a family-owned food supply company founded in 1960, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Manager in Bullhead City, Arizona. The role assists with overall warehouse operations, including goals in safety, service levels, damage, costs, personnel and staffing, and coordinates warehouse activities between all shifts. It reports to the Director of Warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review all warehouse policies and procedures.
• Maintain a personal development plan for direct reports and help Shift Managers and Leads with people development.
• Help manage people needs, warehouse space use, slotting, product flow and production standards.
• Meet warehouse cost metrics and develop cost-reduction strategies.
• Lead continuous improvement using lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.
• Partner cross-functionally with transportation, inventory and customer service teams.
• Supervise all material handlers, leads, trainers and shift managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with distribution or warehouse processes or systems (nice to have).
• Ability to work in a multi-task environment and to analyze and interpret statistical data (nice to have).
• Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday nights, with flexible hours as needed; about 2-3 trips per year to company meetings, traveling independently.
