Senior Logistics Analyst (USFFC NFL Program)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Senior Logistics Analyst (SLA) to provide supply assistance and training to ships homeported in Norfolk and Rota under the USFFC Naval Forces Logistics (NFL) program in Norfolk, Virginia. The role covers Unit Level R-Supply, DLR Management, Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC), MAMs Management and other S-1 operations areas. It is full time, requires a Secret clearance, and involves up to 10% travel within the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data in R-Supply AIS for force/unit level and conduct on-site assistance and training in shipboard R-Supply Management (logistics, inventory, financial), DLR, MAM and FIAR.
• Support supply assist visits and inspections linked to the Fleet Readiness Plan, and conduct pre-, during- and post-deployment supply assist visits.
• Act as subject matter expert for revisions to TYCOM policies and instructions.
• Determine training needs and develop Supply and Financial Management desktop training guides, and deliver classroom training at ATGLANT.
• Analyze R-Supply reports and stock records to fix functional and operational deficiencies, and prepare follow-up reports on stores operations effectiveness.
• Review R-Supply records monthly for Mayport ships and assist ships in day-to-day stores operations.
• Provide logistics management support to Norfolk/Rota/Bahrain unit-level ships in line with SMC 5040.1C and SURFSUP 4400.1A.

Required profile

• Current DOD SECRET clearance and a US passport.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or a related business discipline, or eight years of hands-on experience in R-Supply (R-SUP) Management AISs as a substitute.
• Ideal candidate: former Navy LS (LS1-above) with Unit Level R-Supply experience.

Required skills

• Experience with R-SUP and other supply stores programs.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• NMCI.
