Warehouse & Internal Logistics Supervisor

About the role

ABB's Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Mebane, NC is looking for a Warehouse & Internal Logistics Supervisor. The role reports to the Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager and is an on-site position. It leads a small team responsible for inventory control in a SAP-driven environment, investigating root causes of inventory discrepancies and overseeing cycle counting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of employees who investigate root cause analysis (RCA) of inventory discrepancies, carry out cycle counting, and handle store and dispatch products, systems and services.
• Ensure full inventory coverage through periodic cycle counts based on ABC classification, and supervise and audit cycle count execution for compliance with procedures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy across all plant areas, keeping physical and system inventory aligned in SAP, and meet inventory accuracy targets and corporate and audit requirements.
• Investigate, reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances in a timely manner.
• Optimize warehouse capacity, inventory and floor utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent accepted with relevant experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience leading or coordinating people.
• Proactive, honest, hands-on and collaborative approach.
• Work authorization to work for ABB in the US.

Required skills

• 5+ years of SAP/ERP experience.
• SAP inventory management.
