About the role
ABB is hiring an internal logistics operator for its warehouse in Mebane, North Carolina, working the first shift. The position reports to the Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor and is fully onsite. The work model is onsite in Mebane, NC.
Key responsibilities
- Sort and arrange material for storage according to guidelines.
- Pick components from stock for dispatch and pack them on pallets.
- Carry out routine activities according to established procedures.
- Transport boxes and take part in other collection, storage and warehouse activities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
- Must already hold work authorization allowing work for ABB in the US.
Required skills
- Use of hand tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders or others as needed.
- Safe use of a ladder when required.
