Warehouse Associate – Corrugated Cardboard Recycler

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking motivated, full‑time Warehouse Associates to handle corrugated cardboard recycling across its facilities. The role focuses on collecting, transporting, and replacing cardboard gondolas while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a manual pallet jack to pick up full gondolas (large boxes/containers) and replace them with empty ones in assigned zones.
• Transport and position filled cardboard gondolas at designated packers or compactors (training provided).
• Keep the area around all gondolas free of debris, dust, and trash.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain walkways to ensure a safe, clutter‑free environment.
• Organize and sort the drill/packer/compactor zones to maintain order.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to lift and move gondolas up to 75 lb using a manual pallet jack.
• Capability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 lb.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and stretching above and below waist level.
• Comfort walking throughout the facility and standing for up to 10‑12 hours per shift.
• Read and interpret basic workplace documents and safety guidelines.
