Warehouse Associate – Batteries

About the role

Amprius Technologies is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate in Fremont, CA to handle, move, store, pack and ship batteries. The role covers shipping orders, receiving inventory and keeping the warehouse organized, clean and clutter-free. It is an on-site position requiring a reliable commute or relocation before starting.

Key responsibilities

• Read and follow shipping orders, prepare labels and documents, and load/unload shipments with carriers
• Prepare shipments on time and accurately, collect outbound freight documentation and record shipping activity in the company database
• Verify the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Unload and unpack shipments, check them against invoices, and maintain an accurate inventory count
• Keep the warehouse organized, clean and clutter-free, and perform other duties as needed

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience
• Experience handling hazardous materials or dangerous goods (a must)
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, squat, kneel, twist, crawl, push and pull
• Eligible to work in the United States

Required skills

• Basic computer skills
• Record keeping, data entry and stock management in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and scanners
• Teamwork and dependability
