VTE Account Manager - Peripheral Vascular

About the role

Stryker is hiring a VTE Account Manager in Cleveland, Ohio, focused on peripheral vascular products. The role is field-based, involves clinical demonstrations and education of healthcare facilities, and is paid 100% on commission with eligibility for bonuses and benefits. About 30% of the time is spent travelling.

Key responsibilities

• Give clinical demonstrations and instruction on company products in patient-care areas, in formal, small-group or individual presentations, to gain acceptance of the products and technology.
• Present to physicians and administration customers the clinical and financial benefits of the devices.
• Evaluate new products or device enhancements and give feedback to Product Development and Marketing.
• Help customers introduce, promote and increase use of products across their facilities, and collect and share customer feedback.
• Represent the company at trade shows and educational meetings and complete the required reports.
• Provide product support and education to users in person, in service or by written or verbal means.
• Keep up with new developments in the market and act as a subject matter expert.
• Share information with internal executives and staff on customer acceptance during the pre-sale and evaluation process.

Required profile

• BS degree preferred in a related field, or 6 years of demonstrated successful sales experience.
• At least 4 years of related medical device experience.
• Preferred: experience in the endovascular/OR space and clinical acumen.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision, meet deadlines and concentrate on detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills, and excellent command of English.
• Strong sales and business acumen, and the ability to solve complex clinical problems.

Required skills

• Effective educational and presentation skills in diverse settings, from one-on-one to large groups.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to develop presentation materials.
• Able to maintain certifications and vendor credentials.
