Communications Sales Representative - Cleveland, OH

About the role

Stryker's Communications Business is hiring a Sales Representative in Cleveland, OH. You will sell and promote Stryker's booms, lights, tables, cameras and connected operating room solutions, helping doctors and hospitals adopt the "Operating Room of the Future". The role is field-based, with about 20% overnight travel per year.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Stryker Communications products.
• Educate doctors, nurses and other staff on the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products.
• Direct product evaluations in operating rooms and offices.
• Assist in preparing and running trade shows, conventions and clinical meetings.
• Keep the regional manager informed of territory progress regularly.
• Solve product problems for customers quickly.
• May assist in training and developing sales personnel.

Required profile

• 2-5 years in an outside sales position (medical-related experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree, or five years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience including operating room experience.
• Ability to negotiate price and terms with customers, and to explain and solve product issues.
• Ability to analyze market potential from call patterns and to communicate with large groups and by phone and email.
• Ability to drive an automobile and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
