About the role

Ann Taylor is hiring a part-time Sales Associate for its store at Woodbury Commons in Central Valley, New York. As a brand ambassador, you connect with customers, offer personalized styling advice and keep the sales floor organized so merchandise is ready to impress shoppers.

Key responsibilities

• Connect with customers, listen to their needs and create personalized shopping experiences
• Share product knowledge and recommendations to help style each customer
• Keep the store visually appealing and merchandise well organized on the sales floor
• Use brand behaviors and personalized service to build customer loyalty
• Maintain high visual and operational standards while focusing on the customer
• Use technology to stay informed on company priorities and promotions and give customers a seamless omnichannel experience
• Partner with store leaders to meet individual goals and daily expectations

Required profile

• Sales Associate or customer-focused experience preferred
• Hospitality mindset when engaging with customers
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Takes initiative in making thoughtful decisions

Required skills

• Proficient with technology and able to operate a point-of-sale system
