Regional Business Manager (West)

About the role

Alamar develops technologies to measure critical protein biomarkers from liquid samples, aiming to enable early detection of disease. It is looking for a collaborative, self-driven sales leader to join its team, responsible for developing, driving and executing the commercial strategy within the Bay Area/Pacific Northwest territory and supporting global expansion. The role is field and home-office based.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a territory and account-based sales plan and execute it to meet or exceed company goals
• Deliver presentations on the Alamar technology to customers in seminars and smaller meetings
• Consult customers on the value of the technology for precision proteomics
• Partner across the company to communicate customer needs and drive future product development and market expansion
• Manage and drive the sales process in a complex sales environment
• Update and manage the CRM system and deliver an accurate sales forecast
• Drive prospecting and develop new leads in the region to expand the customer base
• Support the expansion of the commercial organization as needed

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field; MBA or similar degree desired
• 5+ years or equivalent of proven life science capital sales experience and success
• Deep knowledge of biomarker discovery and life science markets
• Adaptable, independent professional with a strong desire to build long-term customer relationships

What we offer

• Base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 plus commission, equity and benefits
• Salary ranges depend on location, skills, experience and education
