VP Sales – Equipment Finance Vendor (Construction & Industrial)

About the role

The VP Sales will lead vendor business development for an equipment finance lessor, focusing on construction and industrial equipment across the Northeast territory. This remote position works closely with dealers, distributors, and manufacturers to create financing solutions for their customers.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and manage small- to mid-ticket vendor financing programs.
• Develop and maintain leasing programs with qualified equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and resellers.
• Structure and present financing products, handling account management from application through funding.
• Negotiate lease terms and pricing, and facilitate credit information gathering for underwriting.
• Market equipment finance services through outbound calls and marketing materials to regional equipment resellers.
• Support existing manufacturer programs, expedite transactions, and ensure prompt invoice payment and customer service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equipment financing or vendor sales.
• Strong understanding of the equipment financing marketplace and its benefits for lessees.
• Executive‑level sales, negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial goals.
• Ability to work independently, develop new relationships, and grow existing accounts.
