VP, Quality Assurance

About the role

Allucent is looking for a VP, Quality Assurance to join its A-team. The role leads the strategic vision, operations and financial health of the Quality organization, oversees customer audits and inspections, and takes part in the Allucent Leadership team. Allucent helps small-to-medium biopharmaceutical companies navigate clinical trials.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the identification, development and implementation of the business strategy for the Quality department
• Develop and agree on operating procedures and business processes
• Head executive and senior management team meetings
• Review audit reports (process, project, vendor) as applicable
• Maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation
• Report to internal stakeholders on strategy, planning, results and performance
• Support regulatory authority inspections as needed
• Represent the Quality organization in key meetings such as the Monthly Business Review and the Board
• Monitor client satisfaction on existing projects and identify key accounts to win new and repeat business

Required profile

• Degree in life sciences, healthcare and/or business
• Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience
• Minimum 12 years in drug development and/or clinical research
• Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP (R3), auditing, GDPR, FDA and international quality management system regulations (e.g. 21 CFR Part 11)
• Process-oriented, with strong analytical, decision-making and critical thinking skills
• Management skills including oversight of teams, and strong leadership, presentation and networking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment of a growing company
