About the role

The Executive Director, Operations Strategy & Portfolio Management leads the strategic planning, portfolio governance, and transformation initiatives for Pharmaceutical Operations & Technologies. Reporting to senior leadership, this role translates corporate strategy into high‑impact programs that drive efficiency, compliance, and business value.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for Pharmaceutical Operations, aligning initiatives with corporate objectives.
• Establish and lead an integrated portfolio management framework, prioritizing projects based on value, risk, and resource requirements.
• Drive operational and technology transformation programs, leveraging digital tools, data analytics, and automation.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing team of portfolio and strategy professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Partner with Finance and functional leaders to develop business cases, budgets, and financial forecasts for the strategic portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, life sciences, technology, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related industries, with a proven record of leading enterprise‑level programs.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead across complex, matrixed organizations.
• Experience presenting strategic recommendations and portfolio performance to senior executives.
