Outpatient Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Senior Living

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join its outpatient therapy team serving senior living communities in the Cary/Apex area. This part‑time or per‑diem position allows you to treat residents in their apartments or in a fully equipped onsite therapy gym, combining home‑based personalization with outpatient resources.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one occupational therapy services in residents' apartments and the community therapy gym.
• Collaborate with the home health therapy team to ensure seamless transitions and ongoing support as resident needs evolve.
• Promote independence and quality of life through personalized treatment plans and relationship‑building.

Required profile

• Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant in North Carolina.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Graduated from an accredited OT program or have two years of relevant experience with a satisfactory proficiency exam.
• At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.

Required skills

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
