Home-Based CNA for Private Geriatric Care – $17‑$19/hr

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant providing one‑on‑one home care to adults in Cary and surrounding areas. You will support clients with daily activities, household tasks, and companionship while enjoying flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Assist with household support including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and encourage range‑of‑motion exercises.
• Help with ambulation, transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.

Required profile

• At least one year of work experience.
• Completed a recognized CNA training program and hold CNA certification.
• Passion for caregiving, empathy, patience, kindness and respect.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, reliable care.
