About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences seeks a volunteer faculty member to teach medical students in the Department of CW Surgery Education. This role involves delivering surgical education and mentoring future physicians.

Key responsibilities

Provide classroom and clinical instruction to medical students.
Develop and deliver curriculum content in surgery and pediatric plastic surgery.
Participate in academic meetings and student assessments.

Required profile

Medical degree (MD or DO).
Completed General Surgery residency.
ACGME‑accredited pediatric plastic surgery fellowship.
Eligibility for an Arkansas medical license and American Board of Surgery certification.
DEA license or eligibility.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States.
Full COVID‑19 vaccination or approved exemption.

Required skills

Surgical expertise in general and pediatric plastic surgery.
Clinical teaching and mentorship.
