Virtual Functional Medicine Physician (DC)

About the role

Aligned Modern Health is expanding its telehealth practice and seeks licensed chiropractors (DCs) to provide virtual functional medicine care to patients nationwide. You will join a collaborative team of over 100 clinicians delivering personalized, data‑driven treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' needs and medical conditions.
• Prescribe nutraceuticals and/or medications and monitor their effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Provide counseling and education on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Stay current with medical advancements in functional, integrative and lifestyle medicine.

Required profile

• At least two years of experience practicing functional medicine and performing specialty testing/labs.
• Active Illinois Chiropractic license (or ability to obtain) and eligibility for remote practice.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate with patients and providers.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with a patient‑first attitude and commitment to 5‑star service.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
