Registered Nurse Clinical Educator - MedTech

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a Registered Nurse Clinical Educator in Chicago to train and educate Registered Nurses and physicians on topical antiseptic kits on behalf of its clients. The role uses clinical nursing expertise outside patient care, with no sales responsibilities and no bedside care. It is scheduled for about one assignment per month, lasting 3-5 days, with a one-week commitment each month.

Key responsibilities

• Provide peer-to-peer education and in-servicing to nurses, physicians and hospital staff to support medical device implementation.
• Assess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experience.
• Use clinical nursing expertise to answer questions and address concerns about the medical device.
• Provide updates, reports and feedback to the client during and after in-service assignments.

Required profile

• RN/BSN required; other bachelor's degrees in health-related fields will be considered with an ADN/ASN.
• Minimum 2-3 years of recent clinical bedside patient care experience.
• National travel required.
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Preferred: ability to work in a group setting and strong professional acumen.

What we offer

• Potential base pay of $35-$38 per hour, depending on qualifications, location and schedule.
