Vice President, Philanthropic Services

About the role

The Vice President of Philanthropic Services leads the Foundation’s growth strategy, leveraging deep expertise in charitable giving vehicles, estate and tax planning, and investment concepts to serve donors, fundholders, and professional advisors across South Florida.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive philanthropic growth strategy aligned with asset growth targets.
• Cultivate and steward relationships with estate attorneys, CPAs, wealth managers, and trust officers as referral partners.
• Structure and close complex multi‑year gifts, including charitable remainder and lead trusts, CRTs, CLTs, and gifts of business interests or real estate.
• Lead, grow, and develop the Philanthropic Services Team, providing coaching and professional development.
• Partner with Marketing, Community Engagement, Impact, and Finance to ensure seamless donor experiences.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in estate planning law, wealth management, trust administration, or planned giving.
• Advanced credential such as J.D., CFP®, CTFA, CAP®, or CFRE, or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
• Proven track record of cultivating high‑net‑worth donor relationships and professional advisor networks.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced or professional degree preferred.

Required skills

• Fluency with charitable remainder trusts (CRTs), charitable lead trusts (CLTs), donor‑advised funds, and other complex charitable vehicles.
• Expertise in estate planning, trust administration, and multi‑generational wealth transfer.
• Ability to engage attorneys, CPAs, and wealth managers as technical peers.
