Vice President Client Services - Executive Liability & Cyber

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Vice President Client Services for Executive Liability and Cyber insurance, based in Alpharetta, Georgia. The role supports producers in developing and managing business with clients, prospective clients and carriers, and covers publicly traded, private and non-profit insureds across industries such as financial institutions, technology, healthcare, education, manufacturing, real estate and hospitality. Applicants must live within driving distance of the Alpharetta office and be able to commute three days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Develop initial and ongoing business and consultative relationships with clients, prospects and carriers, and negotiate new and renewal accounts
• Oversee the marketing, renewal and new business process for Executive, Professional and Cyber Liability
• Work with producers and account managers to build marketing strategies and review applications for completeness
• Send applications to carriers, receive and review quotes, compare coverages and forms, and negotiate with underwriters
• Prepare proposals, bind coverage, review prospect policies and present to clients on new business and renewals
• Meet clients and prospects, resolve issues and maintain strong relationships with carriers, producers and account teams
• Contribute to product line and industry Centers of Excellence, stay current on market trends and attend training
• Take part in panel speaking roles and speak on carrier initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management or a similar field
• At least 10 years of experience with Executive, Professional and/or Privacy Liability products, including Public D&O, private D&O and Financial Institutions
• MLIS and/or RPLU preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills, with basic math, finance and financial management knowledge
• Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain it within 90 days

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Marsh and third-party legal, analytic and benchmarking tools
